Seltz

Situated in an exceptional setting reserved exclusively for fly fishing. The lake covers an area of 2.5 hectares, its clean water (groundwater in Alsace), the quality of its fish and the practical facilities make it a stronghold for fly fishing in Alsace.
The fish stock consists of rainbow trout, but also carp, tench, rudd, perch and pike.
All fishing techniques are permitted (dry fishing, nymph fishing, streamers, the hooks must be barbless).
Whether you are an experienced fly fisherman or a beginner, come and enjoy this magical place and the emotions and sensations of fly fishing from mid-September to the end of June.

Lauterbourg

Boules is a sport that anyone can play from 7 to 77 years of age, in singles, doubles or triples. The boules pitch can be found , to the Place du Château and is open to the general public.

The film club is based in the north-east wing of Lauterbourg community hall. A proper movie theatre with comfortable seats invites you to catch up with recent releases twice a month on Saturdays at 5pm and 8pm, with lectures on particular themes… or even open-air showings in the summer season.

So why not come along on Monday evenings, but remember to book.
The skittle deck can be found at the Sports Complex in the Avenue du Général De Gaulle in Seltz.

Mothern

Make the most of this attractive space equipped with a multitude of outdoor games which will doubtless excite your children: aerial rope slide, wooden boat with games, rope climbing frame, swing, spring-loaded rides and balancing trail, as well as a petanque field. Lots of ways to spend some fun time with all the family.
The Neuwies playground follows the route of the Rhine before its redevelopment: the pathways, aping the meanders and wanderings of the Rhine, trace islands on which playful activities are available, recalling the particularities of Mothern.
These islands also create visual openings through the greenery, like the former wooded promontories eroded by river water.

At yacht harbour, there is pontoon rental per year, month, weekend or day.
50 locations are equipped with power and water distribution for boats up to 12 meters.

The Media Library offers its readers several kinds of documents: books for adults and children, DVDs, audio CDs.
Internet access, making copies, reserving books or renewing books on loan, as well as listening to music or watching films on request, are possible.
Likewise, an activities programme for young and old is also proposed throughout the year. on every first Wednesday of the month, at 10:30 in the morning, the baby reader (1 to 4 years of age) and, on the last Wednesday of the month, for children of 4 years old and older, there's Story Time. Activities for adults are also regularly proposed.
